Resolution on Haiti

The International Conference of Marxist-Leninist Parties and Organizations (ICMLPO) expresses its solidarity with the Haitian people, who have been severely struck by natural disasters throughout the year. This situation of misery and lack of healthy conditions, compounded by the robbery of their wealth by the imperialist powers, notably France and the United, which has increased the number of victims estimated as hundreds of thousands dead.

The people of Haiti, who have historically played a major role in the peoples' struggle for independence, are today, however, occupied by foreign troops that prevent them from exercising their sovereignty. The ICMLPO demands the immediate withdrawal of occupation troops and the return of the wealth stolen by imperialism and colonialism to the Haitian people. At the same time we make a fervent appeal to the progressive parties and forces and to the peoples to give solidarity to the fraternal people of Haiti.
