Ther is also the opinion that, as long as N. Zachariadias was alive, the KKE could not stand in Greece. It turns out that Charilaos Florakis agreed with the Khrushchevite leadership to that action if he did not call for this murder himself.

* Natalia Tomilina, the director of the Russian State Archives, in the spring of 2000 made the following statement: “Not all evidence pertaining Nikos Zachariadis has been published and, especially, the documents related to the circumstances of his death.
