Dear Comrades, The criminal regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran executed 5 political prisoners on early hours of May 9, 2010. Farad Kamangar, Ali Heydarian, Farhad Vakili, Mehdi Islamian, and Shireen Alam Hooli (female) who were kept in the dungeons of the regime for several years were given death sentences under fabricated charges. The Islamic Republic of Iran carried out the death sentences despite domestic and international protests and campaigns for their unconditional release. Greek unions to hold new general strike May 20

Greece's two main unions on Wednesday announced a new general strike on May 20 -- the fourth since February -- and warned of more protests against austerity cuts imposed by the debt-hit government. "We are calling for a general strike on May 20," the GSEE and Adedy unions, who together represent over 1.3 million private sector employees and civil servants, said in a joint statement.
